8 million Defective iPhones
Apple reportedly returned 8 million defective iPhones to Foxconn according to a report on China Business newspaper.
The returned iPhones problems ranges from non-compliance in design, malfunction, and minor damages. The manufacturing cost of the phone is $200 each and it will cost Foxconn as much as $1 billion to replace the unfit products. The report did not mention what model was affected.
"Foxconn follows a strict policy of not commenting on specific customers or products that we produce." a statement issued by Foxconn.
Foxconn also have to deal with first quarter sales slump due to slowing demand for iPhone.
