Apple iPhone 7 2016
Apple will launch the iPhone 7 in 2016 and that's just a few months away so is it worth it to wait or buy the latest iPhone that are now out in the market (iPhone 6S and 6S Plus). There are plenty of rumours about next year's iPhone 7 and they are big. It seems Apple has big plans for the iPhone 7.
KnowYourMobile.com said that the iPhone 7 will have revolutionary features that will be ocmpletely different from the current models. Designer Hasan Kaymak put up an iPhone 7 concept without a home button that will allow it to have a display with no edges. See, his video clip below.
Tech blogs also said that the iPhone 7 will have significantly better water resistance that the current iPhones. Apple is also set to join Samsung, Sony and LG with the wireless charging based on Apple's patent (Inductive Power Transfer Using Acoustic or Haptic Devices) applications published yesterday by the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Apple iPhones can't do wireless charging since it has aluminum case. Wireless-charging handsets use plastic casing so that power can reach the batteries. However, Qualcomm introduced last July a new wireless charger that works through metal cases.
It is also rumored that the iPhone 7 will be powered by an Intel chip with a "hexa-core" processor that will significantly improve speed and power. It will even have a better camera.
Apple may dual-source the LTE modems in its new iPhones from both Intel and Qualcomm. Currently, Qualcomm’s 9X45 LTE chip is use in all iPhone modems.
If money is not an issue, then go ahead get an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus. But, if you need to save before you can buy a new and amazing phone well it's worth it to wait and just use your old phone.

Apple debuted a 21.5-in. iMac with a Retina display of 4096-x-2304-pixel resolution at just $1,499, which is far from the $2,499 Retina 5K iMac when it was introduced while the lower priced is at $1,999.

It has an integrated GPU (graphics processor unit) from Intel and lots of storage space at 1TB hard disk drive. The processors are still one generation behind Intel's latest and there are no discrete graphics options. No HDMI input means it can't double as a TV monitor.

Reddit Stolen Sex Images Banned, Blogger Bans Porn
Looks like the internet is fast becoming a PG13 affair and is fast becoming heavily regulated medium. Reddit, a very popular social networking content sharing site will start banning and deleting content with explicit images published without the subject's consent.
Reddit said: No matter who you are, if a photograph, video, or digital image of you in a state of nudity, sexual excitement, or engaged in any act of sexual conduct, is posted or linked to on Reddit without your permission, it is prohibited on Reddit."
"We also recognise that violent personalised images are a form of harassment that we do not tolerate and we will remove them when notified."
This will take effect on March 10.
Meanwhile, Google also said that they will be banning sexually explicit material on their Blogger platform. The company said that blogger will no longer be able to "publicly share images and video that are sexually explicit or show graphic nudity on Blogger as of March 23.
If you have a blog that shows sexually explicit or graphic nude pictures or video (ex porn) your blog will be made private after March 23, 2015. They will not remove your content, but it will no longer be viewable publicly meaning only the owner, admin, and the people who the owner has shared the blog with can view them.
If you have created a blog after March 23, 2015, and contains graphic nude pictures or video content they may remove the blog. You can check Google announcement here.
I think these companies are making sure that their services will not be use for celeb sex leak (Fappening) again.

Watch Out Apple here comes Xiaomi
A China based tech company Xiaomi is fast becoming a pain to Apple. In 2014, Xiaomi sold 61 million smartphones, which has grown more than thrice its 2013 sales total. A few weeks ago, Xiaomi a five-year old company was able to raised $1.1 billion in new funding at a valuation of $45 billion.
Xiaomi smartphone price is significantly lower than iPhone, and it looks like iPhone. With that price it's a big deal for countries like China, India and other developing nation where average income is lower than those in the U.S. and Europe.
Xiaomi has also employed a strategy on selling their products online instead of having a physical store that that takes a big chunk of profit margins. They also use a "pre-order" system, producting the smartphones after an order is made and paid by the buyer. Since smartphone materials are continuously going down, they are reaping profits since the cost to manufacture the smartphone becomes cheaper than when the phone first went on sale.
Just look at Xiaomi Mi 4 (64GB internal storage) it looks really similar to iPhone 6 and it is also loaded with great features and amazing specification. The Xiaomi Mi 4 has 5-inch IPS LCD display with full HD resolution and run on Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS and a MIUI 6 user interface. It is powered by 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, and has 3 GB RAM. The main camera is 13MP 1/3 inch sensor and an 8MP front camera. It is equipped with 3080 mAh battery unit.
iPhone 6 4.7-inch display, 64GB unlock version at TMobile is priced at $749 while the Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB is priced at $469.99 excluding tax.

Android Lollipop Slow? Here's a Fix
Android has significantly improve the Android Lollipop in terms of design, performance, apps list, and battery life. However, despite all these improvements you may experience some lag and slowdown that may frustrate you.
Android Lollipop users have reported to the Android AOSP bug tracker some lag problems that happened after two days of "standby" time, and it went back to normal when they do a reboot. Expert said that what causing the problem is a "memory leak", were apps keeps on using RAM even though it is no longer needed.
Those apps after some time may use so much RAM that when you use an app you will experience a lag since the system don't have enough RAM for it to function. The system will by closing apps to open more memory, which will then force it to recreate and restore the state of the apps it closed if you need to use them again. This cycle will make the system laggy.
The issue has been reported and now tagged as "resolved" however they offer no fix for now. We will have to wait for future version of Android (Android 5.0.3 or 5.1, or 6.x) to get a fix. For now all we can do is reboot the system.
