Despite US Hate, Huawei is Now Top Phone Maker

Huawei has surpassed Samsung as the world's top maker of smartphones thanks to strong demand in its Chinese home market, despite being a target of pure hatred and jealousy from United States and outher countries like UK and Australia.

The Chinese company is facing US sanctions and falling overseas sales mainly beacuse of the Google Play ban, which Google is prohibited from working with Huawei. Their smartphones do not come with Google apps like Gmail, Maps, YouTube, the Play Store and others for preload or download. Huawei shipped 55.8 million devices which overtakes Samsung for the first time, which shipped 53.7 million units. This marked the first quarter in nine years that a company other than Samsung or Apple has led the market
