Ikea Appliances Review

Ikea Appliances Review, Ikea products, appliances

IKEA is a Swedish-based multinational group of companies that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, appliances and home accessories. However, they are famous for affordable home decor. If you're thinking since you build your living room or kitchen with IKEA why not their appliances? So not to waste you time visiting other stores. The question is are they good and dependable?

Consumer Reports recently tested different kids of appliances available at IKEA that range from refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, a cook-top and a microwave. The results were mixed.

Here are the results:

Lagan dishwasher $280 - it's a bit noisy and the cycle time 160 minutes long.
Renlig dishwasher $400 - worth the money since it does an excellent job cleaning and drying dishes and it takes only about 115 minutes.
Betrodd gas range $800 - performed better at cooking than non-IKEA models that cost $2,000 more. Baking is really good and it has a convection mode. However, when it comes to broiling burgers it does not perform really well.
Nutid french-door refrigerator $1,500 - is equipped with a an excellent temperature control and energy efficiency and quiet. It performed better than similar refrigerators that are double the price.
Lagan over-the-range microwave $150 - was very good at defrosting a pound of frozen ground beef but average in heating evenness.
