This is an unfortunate and weird news, a Chinese woman was killed by an electric shock when she answered a call on her iPhone 5 while it was still charging.
Last Thursday July 11, 2013, Ma Ailun, a 23-year-old woman from China's western Xinjiang region and a flight attendant with China Southern Airlines, was electrocuted when she took a call on the charging mobile telephone, the official Xinhua news agency quoted police as saying on Sunday.
"We are deeply saddened to learn of this tragic incident and offer our condolences to the Ma family. We will fully investigate and cooperate with authorities in this matter," Apple said in an e-mail.
On Sina's microblog the victims sister said that Ma collapsed and died after using her charging iPhone 5 and urged users to be careful, a message that went viral on the site.

Worlds most expensive iPhone 5 worth US$15m
A Hong Kong businessman hired craftsman Stuart Hughes from Liverpool to incorporate his 26-carat black diamond worth $14.5 million to an iPhone. The diamond has been with his family for generations.
According to Hughes, the iPhone has 600 flawless white diamonds, a full solid gold dressing and 53 diamonds on the rear that make up the iconic Apple logo.
The 42-year-old craftsman is known for making lavish and expensive items, including an iPad made of solid gold he debuted two years ago.

Google says Maps not waiting in wings for iPhone 5
TOKYO (Reuters) - Google Inc has made no move to provide Google Maps for the iPhone 5 after Apple Inc dropped the application in favor of a home-grown but controversial alternative, Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt said.
Apple launched its own mapping service earlier this month when it began providing the highly anticipated update to its mobile software platform iOS 6 and started selling the iPhone 5.
But users have complained that Apple's new map service, based on Dutch navigation equipment and digital map maker TomTom NV's data, contains glaring geographical errors and lacks features that made Google Maps so popular.
Most people really want is Google Maps back. It wasn't perfect, but it's really easy to use. FOr now, you can still use the web version just open up Safari on your iPhone and go to https://maps.google.com/. Tap the export button in the bottom menu bar. Then tap "Add to Home Screen”. Name the icon, and tap “Add”.
