A test shows that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is much more faster than the iPhone 8 Plus. Samsung has concentrated on battery life instead of speed, but the Note 8 appears to be a little faster than even the Galaxy S8. In a Youtube video by PhoneBuff, the iPhone 8 Plus loses an "app race" to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The tester attempted a real-world usage by opening multiple apps in quick succession.
At the start of the test the iPhone narrowly wins the first pass through opening all the apps including Facebook, Instagram, and Photoshop Mix. The Note 8 regains the lead when the apps are opened again. Performance on the iPhone is really good, however Apple's background features for apps are intentionally limited. The Note 8 is able to keep every single one of those apps in active memory during the test, so it opens them instantly.
