David Cameron wants to restrict internet pornography
David Cameron has come up with a plan to filter the internet automatically. By the end of 2014, all households will have their access to online pornography blocked unless they specifically request to keep it.
The move, to be announced later by the Prime Minister, is just one of a series of measures to be unveiled as he delivers an emotive speech warning that online pornography is “corroding childhood”.
Possessing violent pornography containing simulated rape scenes is to be made a crime in England and Wales.
And David Cameron is expected to set out plans for new laws placing the same restrictions on videos streamed online in the UK as on those sold in shops.
Experts from the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop), which is set to become part of the National Crime Agency, will be given enhanced powers to examine secretive file-sharing networks, and a secure database of banned child porn images gathered by police across the country will be used to trace illegal content and the paedophiles viewing it.
Now how about movies that shows violence? Rape and Pornography? I think it should be banned too if not then this law will just be selective and just favors David Cameron's rich friends and relatives.
